Annie Suttle Communications

www.anniesuttle.com

Annie Suttle Communications is local Charlottesville based Annie Strickler Suttle. Annie helps other businesses succeed in keeping their image green and helping them put out positive media communications. She is the go to lady if you are in the business of being green but need help in spreading the word. Annie wanted a clean and beautiful site that reflected the way she feels about design and marketing. We spent a long time balancing the design, color, and image look for the site and came up with a winner. We set up the site so that Annie can add blog entries and update most of the text on the site on her own.

Tensegrity Fitness

www.tensegrityfitness.com

Tensegrity Fitness is in Albuquerque New Mexico and specializes in M.A.T. Muscle Activation Techniques. Kim needed a site that was a drastic improvement over her old one and wanted something that was easy to do upkeep. I built her a site using the Wordpress CMS and custom designed the look and feel of it to match her studio and gym. The site can easily be upgraded and added on to in the future without her having to much more than edit a blog entry.

Lawrence Getubig Photography

www.lawrencegetubig.com

Lawrence is a Boston based educator and artist who needed a site that would not overpower his work and work with the comic book theme he was looking for.

I created Lawrence a site in Flash and Actionscript that loads quickly, fits his style, and accurately reproduces the vivid color of his images. The site architecture ensures that it is easily updated in the future. The site also offers the opportunity for visitors to visit his exhibition record, CV, bio, and statement about each body of work. I also created a blog template that matches the look and feel of the site. The blog works with an open source software to give Lawrence a way to keep his fans up to date on all of his new work.

marcusThe Law Offices of Marcus Garcia

www.sandialaw.com

Marcus Garcia was a man who knew exactly what he wanted when it came to his site. He needed something with a look of class and elegance that went well with his already established branding. He had a list of functionality he wanted to incorporate and a keen eye for design.

I custom designed Marcus a site using XHTML, CSS, Javascript, and Flash that met all of his needs. The site has a custom Flash intro, search functions, embedded maps to the office, important resource links for his employees, and plenty of information on his practice. The site does great in the search rankings due to the extra amount of care we spent on SEO.  Marcus often gets compliments on the site and how it truly reflects his business.

issue8CoverFraction Magazine

www.fractionmag.com

I co-founded Fraction in January of 2008 as a non profit magazine dedicated to promoting newly established photographers and artists. Working in Flash, Actionscript, HTML, and CSS I designed and coded the site for 18 months. The magazine put out 9 issues and six group shows while I was involved and was received around the world with great success. The mailing list grew and grew and Fraction was offered opportunities around the world to participate in judging and portfolio reviews.

Fraction has all of the back issues in an archive as well as all of the articles and book reviews. The site has received millions of hits in the first two years and continues to grow. I have since left Fraction but I will always keep the original archive online as it is an invaluable reference for up and coming photographers.

nfabqChristine Ver Ploeg Garcia

www.nfabq.com

Christine is an Albuquerque, New Mexico based Licensed Independent Social Worker. Her specialty is neurofeedback and she needed a website to get the word out. Like so many other people I have worked with she had a DIY site in place and was extremely unhappy with it. We worked with her already established branding to create a site that lets her show off her business with pride. I added a custom slide show to the front page to show off some of the images she had taken on her travels and created a custom music player. I also worked with Christine on SEO to get her to the top of the Google search for Albuquerque neurofeedback.

Picture 1Todd Stewart Photography

www.toddstewartphotography.com

Todd came to me reluctant about making a website. He was frustrated in his search for a website that he could easily update on his own. Most of the others were either an enormous up front fee of close to $1000 dollars, or yearly fees that would eventually add up to just as much.

I already had the solution for Todd with the line of sites I had created that worked in conjunction with the Flickr API to manage all of his galleries and images. Todd can now revamp his entire website in minutes and all through his Flickr account.

scottScott Sandler Photography

www.scottsandlerphotography.com

Scott is based in San Diego and just getting his start in the world of professional photography. I designed a site using the Flickr API so he can rearrange his site and galleries to meet his new clients needs.

The site is designed in Actionscript and Flash and uses a simple and clean design. The site has a link to his blog, a page about Scott, and a simple contact page. We got Scott up and running for less than cost of one of his lenses and left him room to grow if he needs it.

www.joshuaspees.com

My own photography site is designed completely in Actionscript and is an example of one of my sites working in conjunction with the Flickr API. The site pulls all of the galleries, images, and thumbnails from Flickr and builds the site every time someone visits it.

Using sets in my Flickr account as the basis for the galleries on my website, I can use Flcikr to add images, remove images, edit images, add or remove galleries, and arrange the order of all of the photos on my site in minutes. I have seven different templates that all work with the Flickr management system all ready to go, or I can custom design a site of your liking with this system.
