Web

A web site can be one of the least expensive things you can do for your business or your identity. It will probably look like it too. However there are inexpensive ways to get your name and product out there without spending a bundle. Before you cut corners and try the old DIY website route, sit down and talk to me first about your business and branding needs and we can see what the options are. Don’t sell yourself and your business short.

There are so many options out there now. Long gone are the days of having to call your designer every time you want to switch the tiniest piece of information on your site. With all of the blogs already made to order such as WordPress and Blogger, you can simply tweek a few design elements and have something fresh and easily updated by almost anyone in the office. Why spend thousands and thousands of dollars having someone re-invent the wheel for you?

  • Web sites start at $250 dollars for a simple template site of about 4 pages where I custom fill in the information and tweek the site to match your needs and branding.

  • For the artists out there, I have seven different template Flash sites that will work with your Flickr account to let you custom create and manage all of the images on your site. Prices start at $300. A few examples of these sites can be located here and here. I am currently working on another page here that will explain the sites in more depth/ Call or email me for more info.

  • For around $500 we can get you up and running with something pretty spectacular that will grab the attention of your customers. This will cover up to about ten pages and three design changes.

  • For complete custom sites, designed to match your every need and branding, prices start at around $800 dollars. Call me or email me for complete details on this process. I will work with you from step one to make sure your site is everything you want it to be.

Hosting

I can host your site for you or you can choose your own host. I can even recommend some of my favorites to you.

  • Hosting through me is $120 per year paid once a year.

  • Domain names are $20 each and renewed every two years.

Print

I am fully equipped to meet all of your print needs from image preparation to final output. I have local printers as well as online services to meet any budget for your brochures, business cards, and catalogs. Call me with your projects and ideas and I can give you a better idea of an exact price.

  • Logos starting at $100

  • Business card design starting at $40

  • Brochure design starting at $60

Photography

Commercial photography prices vary by subject, but here is a breakdown of my basic pricing.

  • Real estate work is $75 per home for one hour of photographing. CD will be delivered the next day.

  • Architecture work is $250 half day $400 all day. DVD within 48 hours.

  • Event photography is $75 and hour with a two hour minimum.

  • Any other commercial work is done by the hour at the $75 an hour, $250 half day, $400 all day.

  • Any lighting or equipment rentals and travel outside of Charlottesville will be charged on top of these prices.

  • Images rights are kept by the photographer and the final uses must be discussed in advance. Most normal web use and local print use is fine, but for large quantities and National and International usage, other fees will apply.

  • Editing beyond the normal touch ups and photo repair work is done at $40 per hour.
